By the end of this course, participants will know how to:
• Create an Options implementation containing the courses for required students and create classes to allocate to option blocks.
• Allocate students to classes and edit class allocations.
• Enter and edit students’ choices with analysis and reporting.
• Transfer curriculum data to Nova T and student allocations to
SIMS .net.
• Manage your back ups.

the senior teaching and administrative staff who will create the option blocks and enter data into SIMS.

Title of Course - Academic Management Student set lists and timetables
By the end of this course, participants will know how to:
• Assign students to classes using a variety of techniques.
• Rotate students around e.g. technology classes using
the Student Carousel Wizard.
• Copy student allocations forward into the following
academic year.
• Allocate students to out of year/band classes.
• Resolve clashes.
• Print timetables and set lists from Nova T and SIMS .net.
• Understand the relationship between set list information and
the assessment suite.
• Use Course Manager to attach extra staff and/or students to
courses so that they appear in Assessment Manager, but not on the timetable.
